SpaceX just unleashed its Starship rocket for the first time
Late last night at a launch facility in Boca Chica, Texas, SpaceX's next-generation Starship rocket—dubbed Starhopper—successfully launched from the pad, flew sideways, and landed. The Starhopper will someday serve as a cost-effective launch system for Starlink satellites with its much more powerful Raptor engine, but in the long term, SpaceX hopes it will someday head for Mars with human cargo.
