26 Amazing TV and Soundbar Sales for the Super Bowl

Maybe you're into the Super Bowl and have plans to stream it live this Sunday—or maybe not. Regardless, there are a lot of very good reasons you might be looking for a new television, and now is one of the select times of year when a bunch of them are on sale. There may be a few TV deals during President's Day in a couple of weeks (like last year), but the prices below are worth a serious look.

Updated Sunday Feb. 3: We added a few new deals to this list, including a Roku Ultra and Nintendo Labo deal. Most of these are still set to expire at midnight after the Super Bowl.

• 55-Inch LG OLED B8 4K TV for $1,497 ($600 off): There is no better-looking TV than one with an OLED display. They get the darkest blacks possible because every single pixel lights itself up, and they have extra-vivid color because there is no backlight washing out the image. This model is very similar to the LG C8 we reviewed, and it's as cheap as we've seen it. $1,500 is currently the bottom for OLED TV prices. Walmart also has this deal.

• 55-Inch Vizio P-Series 4K TV for $650 ($150 off): The P-Series is one of our favorite TVs right now (8/10, WIRED Recommends). It has deep blacks and the best-looking design we've seen at this price. Walmart also has this deal.

• 65-Inch Vizio P-Series 4K TV for $900 ($300 off): This is the same TV as above, only bigger. This is an outstanding television, not only for its price and screen size, but just overall. Walmart also has this deal.

• 70-Inch Vizio E-Series 4K TV for $800 ($100 off): The E Series is a step down from Vizio's P-Series, but if you want a massive TV, this one looks pretty darn good. If you're someone who really notices picture quality, opt for the P-Series (or an OLED), but if you just want a really nice, giant TV, this is a very good one at a good price.

• 55-Inch Samsung NU8000 4K TV for $800 ($200 off): This TV is a nice midrange Samsung television, but it's especially good for gamers. It supports FreeSync and auto-detects Xbox and PS4 consoles and goes into game mode with lower lag time for more responsive playing. Best Buy and Walmart also have the sale price.

• 65-Inch Samsung NU8000 4K TV for $980 ($300 off): This is a larger version of the TV above. It's also fantastic, but you'll need a good sized table to hold it. Best Buy and Walmart also have the sale price.

• Samsung's Frame TV for $1,498 ($502 off): This is a nice TV, but the real reason to own it is if you want your TV to hang on the wall and look like artwork. It comes with an Art Mode that rotates between paintings when the TV isn't in use, and you can buy special pieces of art for it. It has a single slim cable to plug in. Best Buy and Walmart also have the sale price.

If you're on a tight budget (most of us are), these are some TVs we really like that cost $500 or less. They aren't quite as vibrant as the models above, but we think they're high enough quality to get the job done.

• TCL 43-Inch 5 Series Roku TV for $320 ($60 off): Amazon has a great price on this TCL TV with built-in Roku. It's smaller at 43 inches, but part of TCL's 5 Series, which has a good, uniform 4K HDR picture. It doesn't have fancier features like local dimming, but the picture is nice, and the built-in Roku may save you a few bucks.

• TCL 55-Inch 5-Series Roku TV for $450 ($100 off): This is a larger version of the same TCL TV we regularly recommend. If you can afford it, go with the larger screen.

• Samsung NU7100 for $500 ($100 off): The picture quality of this Samsung is on par with the TCL above. We prefer the Roku interface, but if Samsung is a brand you trust more, go for it. If you can spare the cash, try the Samsung NU8000 series we feature above, though. There are smaller, cheaper sizes to this TV at Best Buy. Walmart also has the deal.

• Sonos Beam for $349 ($50 off): This is the latest Sonos Soundbar, complete with hands-free Alexa (Google coming). Read our full review.

• Sonos Playbar for $599 ($100 off): The Playbar is older than the Beam and doesn't have microphones in it, but it still sounds amazing, especially with a Sonos Sub.

• Sonos Sub for $599 ($100 off): The Sub is rarely on sale, which is a shame because it's pricey. We wish the company made a cheaper one, but we also really like the Sub. If you have the disposable income, it does make a considerable difference in your sound.

• Samsung N650 Panoramic Soundbar for $398 ($100 off): This Samsung soundbar creates 5.1-channel surround sound with "acoustic beam" technology. Basically, it bounces sound off your walls to create a more engrossing sound. It's one of our favorite soundbars, especially for gamers because of its ability to emphasize spatial sound effects.

• Vizio 36-Inch Soundbar + Sub for $129 ($19 off): No, this isn't a huge sale, but it's an incredibly affordable soundbar and wireless subwoofer combo that's just that much cheaper. It sounds excellent and will enhance any movie or TV experience. It pairs especially well with a Vizio TV, as you might expect.

• Vizio 36-Inch Surround System with Dolby Atmos for $400 ($100 off): At $400, this soundbar, sub, and satellite speaker bundle is still pricey, but it's currently our favorite surround system because of its price. Dolby Atmos also pushes sound upward and sideways, to really fill your room with sound.

• Vizio 46-Inch Soundbar and Sub with Atmos for $700 ($100 off): If you want to up your bass and still get Atmos-level sound, this is the way to go. It's expensive, but Vizio's audio quality is solid. There's also a model with satellite speakers that's discounted. Best Buy also has the deal price.

• Polk Command Bar for $249 ($50 off): This isn't a soundbar for everyone (read our review), but if you like Alexa, don't own a soundbar, and are not an audiophile, it's worth it. It comes with a wireless subwoofer as well.

There are a few other exciting deals going on this week. These are a few of our favorites.

• Amazon Fire TV 4K for $40 ($10 off): Roku is our favorite streaming platform right now, but this Fire TV works great for everything other than YouTube and Vudu. It's one of the Best TV Streaming Devices you can buy.

• Amazon Fire TV Cube for $80 ($40 off): The Fire TV Cube is Amazon's attempt at making a Fire TV that can rely entirely on Alexa. It ... doesn't really work. You'll still need to use the remote a lot. For that reason, we did not recommend it at $120, but at this lower price, we'll let you be the judge. It does function fine as a standard 4K Fire TV.

• Roku Ultra for $80 ($20 off): This is the absolute best Roku you can own. You can read more about it's benefits in our Roku Buying Guide.

• Beats Studio3 for $280 ($70 off): These are some of the best noise-canceling headphones you'll find, though they skew a bit bassy, as you might expect from Beats. Best Buy also has the discounted price.

• Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for $57 ($13 off): The Switch Pro controller is the best way to play on your TV. It's one of the most comfortable controllers you can buy and one of the first accessories you should buy for Switch.

• All 3 Nintendo Labo Kits for $40 a piece ($20-$30 off): Nintendo's cardboard Labo kits are some of the most underrated games on the Switch, and all three of them are on sale at Best Buy right now. Basically, you build cardboard gadgets like Legos and then play actual games with them. We gave the Labo kits a 9/10, WIRED Recommends award in our review. The Vehicle Kit is our favorite, by far. It's good for anyone. The Variety Kit is a fun intro to the idea too. The Robot Kit is great for kids who really like to game.

• LectroFan White Noise Machine for $35 ($15 off): WIRED Gear reviewer Adrienne So bought this white noise machine three years ago and it's still serving her well today. The regular noise it makes on "Low" works well to help her kiddos sleep.

• Dakine Party Bucket for $25 ($30 off): Got a big bucket lying around? Turn it into a party machine with this topper. It has slots for a bunch of beers, and you can easily fill the bucket under it with ice to keep everything cool. And no, there is no good reason why we put this on the list other than it made us laugh. We're sorry.
