Lookback At When Ranbir Kapoor Confessed How Alia Bhatt Changed For Him

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are amongst the most loved couples in the industry. For those unaware, while the actor was Alia’s childhood crush, it was only while shooting for their first collaborative project, Brahmastra that the couple fell for one another. Today, on April 14, the duo celebrated their third wedding anniversary. Amid this, let’s have a lookback at the time when Ranbir opened up about many unknown anecdotes from their relationship.
In an interview with Nikhil Kamath for an episode of People by WTF on the latter’s YouTube channel, Ranbir Kapoor was heard confessing his gratitude to have met with his doting wife, Alia Bhatt. He said, “You know, I’m so lucky that I married somebody who I’m extremely close to as a friend, like, we can really chat, laugh, b***h, you know, like, she’s my best friend. And I got really lucky with that."

The actor further continued reflecting about his bond with Bhatt and how she has been acting her roles in her life. “Alia was somebody who I met over the years, and I knew that this person is special. I have immense respect for her as an actor, as an artist, as a person, as a daughter, as a sister. And she really makes me smile. You know, I’m very happy to go home to her. I love going on a holiday with her. But I love coming home with her also," he continued.
In the same interview, Ranbir was then asked if his wife is generally in a good mood. To this, he nodded in affirmation and mentioned, “Well, she is a very ambitious girl and she’s an overachiever. Like, work is… she’s really passionate about it. Extremely passionate. Extremely intelligent. So, she has spaces where she is kind of fragmented. So, you really have to get her attention. But I think over the years, I really cribbed to her about it. I have her attention now."
Not only this, but the Animal star also confessed about his wife’s efforts towards him and the relationship. Additionally, she mentioned that Alia has changed a lot for him and stated, “And I’m talking like she listens to me, you know. But I think she has really made certain efforts. And I must acknowledge this about her is that, like, everything I complained about or she complained about, I think she made better efforts than I have. She changed more for me than I have changed for her," pointing towards their immense love for one another.
For those unaware, Alia and Ranbir are blessed with a baby girl, whom they lovingly named Raha Kapoor.
