Personally I couldn't care less if someone is gay it's not my arse there fucking what someone does in there private life is upto them I didn't go through all the comments I have better things to waste time on like waiting for real celebs to pop up but I honestly don't see the issue with it being a mixed board women like to have a perve aswell you don't see a dick unless you click on the post anyway so not like anyones eyes will be hurt my misses was disappointed when this post came up only to see tiger Woods and that's it

1) The Catholic church has now changed it's stance and said "Hold on, turns out that for the last 2000 years we've got it all wrong. Having read exactly the same passages in the bible that have always been there, it is now clear that God does love the gays and they aren't going to burn in he'll for eternity. Apologies to all those in the past who suffered and died for their sexuality, we really should have noticed earlier. What's that? Is our change if position anything to do with the popular consensus in many countries changing and allowing gay marriage and the popularity of the religion and lower attendances at churches, leading to lower revenues coming into the churches coffers got anything to do with our decision? Absolutely not!"

In light of the churches new position that being gay is fine and gay marriage is recognised, are you now obliged to follow suit and change your views to match that of the church and interpretation of the bible?

2) Your God in his/her/it's infinite wisdom decided to make millions of people per year be born with a different sexual orientation, be it gay, transgender, bi-sexual. Why do that whilst also getting his followers to create the bible where it states that being anything other than straight is a immoral sin punishable by death and eternsl damnation. Seems a bit if a shitty thing to do whilst just sitting back and observing the pain and suffering it causes to millions.

More accurately, the current pope spontaneously said he had no problem with homosexuality and the entire Catholic church shat itself and hurried to fall in line behind him as he tried to pull them into the twentieth(!) century.

No, my point is that you've made no compelling arguments to explain your position. If you believe the Bible (which clearly says it's wrong to be gay) then we could put it down to your lack of mental reasoning and leave it at that but at the moment it's just confusing. It's like saying I don't have a problem with murderers but I disagree with murdering. It doesn't make sense!!!

Beliefs are extremely easy to change. All you need to do is be rational about them.

Example: if you cant think of a reasonable excuse for calling gay people "immoral" purely for being gay then your "belief" only exists because you want it to.

You've also said it is due to your religious beliefs and have swerved the recent posts asking whether your beliefs now need to change as the pope and the catholic church have done a complete 180 and said it is now fine.

Your beliefs and those passed down by your parents (and generations before) was based on the old interpretation of the bible. Now it is OK with the church, you surely need to reassess your position, otherwise you are left just not liking a minority group without the umbrella of religion to vindicate your beliefs.
