Saugat Bolakhe

Saugat Bolakhe is a freelance science journalist based in NYC. He studied zoology as an undergraduate in Nepal and received a master’s degree from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York. He was awarded the 2024 Science Journalism award by the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology.

His work has appeared in Scientific American, Nature, New Scientist, Quanta, Eos, Discover, Knowable, and other publications.
