With the Blu-ray of Inside Out coming next week, the good folks at Pixar have released a piece of #content that attains #peak #synergy: the emotions from the movie watching the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Given that both Pixar and Lucasfilm are subsidiaries of Disney, we can't say we're surprised, but it certainly seems like it opens the floodgates for gratuitous crossovers in a way that might get old. Fast. In nine months, are you really going to need to watch the Good Dinosaur having a beer with Doctor Strange? Or Dory making a cameo in a fishbowl on Rogue One?
Actually, scratch that. Doctor Strange and an underage dinosaur drinking together sounds like exactly what the Unified Disney Storyverse needs.
