In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Paul Bettany went from only providing voiceover work for Tony Stark's virtual assistant Jarvis to embodying someone else: Vision. He went through extensive makeup work in order to play the character, but that was only the beginning of the process that brought Vision to life onscreen. In this exclusive clip from the Ultron Blu-ray (out on October 2, but also available digitally starting September 8), executive producer Victoria Alonso and visual effects supervisor Christopher Townsend discuss how Bettany's physical performance was stripped down and rebuilt using CGI in order to create an eerie character who looked like an unfamiliar combination of artificiality and humanity.
