We have posted several preview cards and other news about the trading card game Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters here on GeekDad in the past. Now the entire family can be entertained with the animated tales of an aspiring new Kaijudo duelist in Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters – Creatures Unleashed .
I have seen a few episodes of this with the kids, and I have to say, I liked what I saw. Much less on the cutesy side than, say, Pokemon, but still targeted toward younger kids. I especially liked the central theme of anti-bullying. That is a real hot topic currently and this show addresses it well. This first DVD in the series runs 110 minutes and consists of 5 episodes. The packaging also includes an exclusive alternate art “Kenina” playable trading card.
