We've gotten our hands on more photos of Ettore Bugatti's beautiful 57C, which is which is expected to command a record price when it hits the auction block later this summer.

Bugatti built just 710 copies of the 57C between 1934 and 1940, and this one was Ettore Bugatti's personal car. The crew at his factory in Molsheim, France built it for Le Patron in 1936 to mark his 55th birthday. The one-off body was penned by his son, Jean. It is believed to be among the last of Jean Bugatti's designs.

The car, Chassis No. 57335, was meticulously maintained by the factory until it was sold to a private collector in the 1950s. It has had just a few owners since then and remains entirely original. Like that amazing Type 57S Atalante Coupe that was found in a barn and auctioned for $4.53 million in February, this car may be one of the best original-condition Bugattis left in the world.

It will be auctioned during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August and the winning bid is expected to top the record-setting $12.1 million paid last month for a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. Gooding and Co., the auction house handling the sale, sent us a bunch of photos.

Try not to drool on your keyboard. And check out our original post to learn more about this car's amazing history.
