Why wait for February 1 when you can find out who won the Super Bowl right now courtesy of Electronic Arts’ Madden ’09?
Results from EA’s annual tradition of simulating the Super Bowl within the latest iteration of Madden have been revealed by the publisher, and if the game is to be believed, the Pittsburgh Steelers will trounce the Arizona Cardinals 28-24.
Though Kurt Warner put up respectable passing numbers — 275 yards — in the hard fought game, and generated a minor fourth quarter rally, the Steelers defense was able to ensure that Roethlisberger and friends’ 28 points proved enough to put them on top.
Official footage from the game can be found below.
