Skype--it's not just good for cheap long-distance calling anymore. Now it can destroy a perfectly good "What I was really doing last night" alibi.
That would be courtesy of Israeli telecomm company BATM, which has adapted its KishKish Lie Detector application to work with Skype. The software conducts real-time analysis of the audio stream from a voice call, noting signs of stress in the caller's speech patterns. It can also record calls for later analysis.
And it's pretty much invisible to the person on the other end of the call, so go ahead and get paranoid.
